What is a vehicle wrap?
A vehicle wrap is digitally printed vinyl with a self adhesive backing that covers or “wraps” your vehicle; usually for advertising purposes or custom graphics. Once applied to your vehicle it has the appearance of a custom paint job but for thousands less.
Will the wrap damage my paint?
No. For the time that the vehicle is wrapped, the paint is actually protected from minor abrasions and UV exposure. The paint will look as good as the day the wrap was installed. Non OEM paint may cause problems when removing wrap.
Do you design the vehicle wrap?
Yes. Accent Wraps can design the entire wrap, or we can work with your own artwork. Our in-house designers specialize in the design of vehicle wraps. We work closely with our client to ensure that the message and design is exactly what they want. A final proof is always reviewed with the client before each job is sent to print.
How long do vehicle wraps last?
A wrap can last four years or longer if installed correctly and properly cared for. All of our materials are of the highest quality and will look great for years to come.
How do I care for my vehicle wrap?
Hand washing is recommended. High pressure washers and harsh chemicals should be avoided. Do not use an ice scraper on the windows if wrapped, brushing is OK.
Can the graphics be removed?
Yes. The vinyl is manufactured with an adhesive that is easily removable up to 4 years, after that it does become more difficult to remove. An average sized sedan can be stripped within two to three hours. Accent Wraps can remove the wrap, or you may choose to remove it yourself.
Are car wraps applied to windows?
Yes, but only rear side and rear windows. Window wraps are printed on a special perforated vinyl that allows the driver and passengers to see through the rear and side rear windows.
How much do vehicle wraps cost?
Size of vehicle, amount of graphics coverage, and design time are taken into consideration when pricing a wrap. Curvy vehicles and vehicles with lots of surface obstacles are more expensive because installation time is longer. A Beetle or Hummer is more difficult than a boxy van. Full car wraps are usually in the $2,000-3,000 range. Larger vans are approximately $3,000-4000.
